We will discuss each of these maps, perks, and VR but let's take a brief overview of the game first. Fallout 4 belongs to the famous series of Fallout Action Role-playing video games by Bethesda Game Studios. The name contains four but actually, it is the fifth installment to the series. It can be characterized in a Post-Apocalypto genre which is the sub-genre of science fiction, in this type of genre the world technologic civilization is collapsing. This game was released for multiple platforms back in the year 2015. It provides an only Single-player gaming mode for the users, open world environment is provided in the gameplay. The game is plotted in the year 2287, the city of Boston and Massachusetts are incorporated and named as 'The Commonwealth'.
Before he went down the shelter, he suffered from many problems like her wife getting murdered and son getting kidnapped so he sets on a mission of finding his lost son in the city of 'The Commonwealth'. This edition also introduced full voice acting of the protagonists in the series. In the start of the game, the player finds out that the world has got ruined and it is in a very bad condition. He starts completing different quests either by helping out many factions which survived after the apocalypse or by clearing different missions. All these quests and missions increase the abilities and experience point of its characters, both these increase the level of the player's profile. Some features are unique in this edition of the series using which the player can develop different items like Drugs, Weapons, armors, Explosives and many other things. Other Similar GamesFallout 4 Perk ChartsPerk is divided into the 10 levels based on S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats which is based on 7 factors known as Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. All these factors make S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats of the game. Every perk has different ranks associated with it and as you go down the level of the rank you will have better strength in that category. As far as we down in the perk level, more points are required to get it. Let's have a look on the chart first and then we will discuss each of it in detail. All these pictures of the Perks are from the official poster released by the Bethesda Games, we have gathered them together in a single picture. A detailed description of each of it is given below. S- StrengthAs the name suggests, this perk is a measure of how much physical powerful your character has. How much he can carry and how effective his attacks are. Just like others, there are 10 levels in this category as well. These levels are named as Iron Fist, Big Leagues, Armorer, Blacksmith, Heavy Gunner, Strong Back, Steady Aim, Basher, Rooted, and Pain Train.Iron Fist: It improves the physical attacking power of character, better-unarmed attack. The picture of this level shows a vault boy who is punching/kicking the Air. There are five ranks associated with this level, in rank 1 your punch does 20% more damage to the enemy. In rank 2 this percentage increases to 40% and with every next rank, it increases 20% more while in rank 5 it has double power. You can find different items in the map using map search, there is a list of all those items given below. To find the map, click here.List of Collectibles
Fallout 4 BOBBLEHEADBobbleheads are one of the types of collectible which are placed in the game at different locations. This item is very important for the players as it is used to increase the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats in the during by level 1 permanently. Players are very curious about the locations where they are placed as it helps them getting ranks of S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats very quickly as compared to the other collectibles.List of Pickups
Now that Fallout 4 supports mods — free add-ons created by amateur programmers — for Xbox One, fans are coming back to Bethesda Softworks' nuke-blasted Boston with fresh eyes.
If this is a new idea for you, that's okay. Mods (as PC users think of them) haven't ever been common on consoles.
SEE ALSO: How to build a post-apocalyptic cat army in 'Fallout 4' on Xbox One
Unreal Tournament III supported them on PlayStation 3, and it's increasingly common to see games include tools that let users build their own content. But mods take things to another level, especially in the context of Fallout 4.
Creators build their content using PC tools that aren't dissimilar from the ones that Bethesda used to make Fallout 4. In the simplest terms, that means you stand to see a much wider range of game-changing add-ons.
Where to start, though? The Fallout 4 mod selection is already quite robust — and growing rapidly — but we've picked out a small assortment of popular ones that offer a small taste of how you can change up your game.
1. Ish's Respec Mod
One of Fallout 4's greatest strengths — and this really applies to the series as a whole — is how open-ended it really is. The stats you focus on and the Perks you unlock influence almost every facet of how you play the game.
There's just one problem: Once you unlock a Perk or apply a skill point, it's locked. You can start an entirely new game and make different choices, but there's no way to backtrack on earlier choices.
Not without Ish's Respec Mod, that is. Adding this creates a new chem called 'Brainf*ck' which, when used, resets your entire Perk tree and refunds all the points you previously spent.
The chem is automatically added to many of the game's vendors, but you can also craft it at a Chemistry Station using two Nuclear Materials and two Brain Fungus.
2. PEW Lasers
This is a simple mod that can have a profound effect on your enjoyment of Fallout 4. Assuming you use laser weapons, that is. If you don't, this mod will make you want to.
PEW Lasers takes all of the laser weapon sound effects in Fallout 4 and replaces them with a verbal 'pew pew!' sound. This is especially entertaining if you have a pet dog, as the high-pitched 'pew' noise tends to catch their attention.
It's difficult to really appreciate the value of this mod until you experience it for yourself. Just check out the video above to hear what a difference a little 'pew pew' can make.
3. Improved Map with Visible Roads
Another simple, subtle mod, the title speaks for itself here.
The improved map makes roads, train tracks and coastlines much clearer and easier to read than they are on the map that you see in your vanilla Pip-Boy. It also features 'corrected' map marker placement.
Note that some Fallout 4 mods require one or more of Bethesda's three official add-ons, and we'll note it when that's the case. This one doesn't actually require any of them, but it does bring the same improvements to the Far Harbor add-on's separate map.
4. The Collector: Bobbleheads
The Collector: Bobbleheads isn't quite a cheat, but it's not recommended if you don't want any help at all in uncovering Fallout 4's secrets.
Collectible Bobbleheads are scattered throughout the game, and each one you find confers some sort of permanent stat or skill bonus. They're all well-hidden and not attached to any quest, so normally you just wander around and explore until you find them.
The Collector mod wraps a lengthy, multi-part quest around finding all the Bobbleheads. It was conceived as a way to help players enjoy this part of the game without actively cheating.
The quest doesn't start automatically; you have to head to the Vault-Tec Regional HQ (it's an unlockable map marker) and explore it until you find the working terminal that starts things off. The Bobbleheads all remain in their standard locations; the mod's quest simply provides you with direction and purpose.
5. Deathclaw Follower ModFallout 4 Nexus Map
Deathclaws are among the most fearsome beings in the entire Fallout universe. They're giant, irradiated lizard-monsters that walk on two legs and are roughly as tall as a schoolbus. The sight of even just one is enough to send all but the highest level players scurrying in the opposite direction.
This mod asks: What if you could make friends with that kind of power?
Your Deathclaw follower isn't quite as evolved as some of the other companions you can pick up in Fallout 4. It can fight and cart stuff around (via inventory transfer), but you can't order it to move or investigate things and you can't send it to take up residence in any of your settlements.
The Deathclaw's home is the Red Rocket truck stop (the one near Sanctuary; not to be confused with the Red Rocket in the Glowing Sea). He chills out in the nearby Mole Rat den, a cave accessible at the bottom of a hill, due south of the Red Rocket map marker.
6. Snap'n Build
Fallout 4 introduces the concept of player-owned settlements, giving you the ability to build anything from crafting stations and basic goods to full-blown dwellings. The only problem is the selection of buildable structures, which is a little thin.
Snap'n Build addresses that. It adds a new selection to the 'Structures' tab in Workshop mode that gives you access to a variety of architectural styles — including standard residential homes, bunkers, capsule-style dwellings and industrial buildings.
It's not the easiest mod to get a handle on, but the same could be said for Fallout 4's Workshop tools in general. Snap'n Build won't give you an easier time, but it does offer more options for those who really want to customize the look of their post-apocalyptic wasteland.
We'd recommend reading through the mod description before you install this one. That really goes for every mod, but it's especially true for Snap'n Build. There's a lot here, and the description offers a brief rundown of how to find and use it all.
7. WRVR - New Companion and Radio Station
There are plenty of companions to pick up in Fallout 4 — though one more doesn't hurt — so this one's really about the music. WRVR gives you a whole new radio station filled with familiar public domain music to listen to as you wander through the ruins of Boston.
Unlock some mods which need to be sought out, this one is active from the moment you install it. Just tune into the radio station to start listening.

The thing that stands out most is the amount of work that clearly went into making WRVR feel like it's part of the universe. It's not just a playlist of music; you get a full-blown programming block featuring a fully voiced DJ (Casey Kessler), commercials and even radio plays (also voiced).
This mod is completely harmless, and it only adds to your game. If you're trying to avoid mods that could be construed as cheats, you have nothing to fear from this one.

The Best Mods out Right Now
Fallout 4 has only been out for a few weeks, but there are already plenty of mods available for the PC version. With so many fun and interesting mods to discover, we've decided to compile some of the best mods that the game's passionate community have made so far. Check out what we've found! And if you're interested, we've also included details on how to enable mods and each mod's respective download links.
:
How to Enable and Activate Mods
In order to activate mods, you need to enable your game's ability to use them first. This can be done by altering a couple of lines in the game's configuration(.ini) files, which you can find and change by following the three simple steps below.
To activate mods, you need a mod manager tool. Unfortunately, Bethesda has not released their own official mod tool yet. However, you can download this easy-to-use unofficial Fallout 4 Mod Manager for now. We'll be sure to update this slide with a download link of the official tool once Bethesda releases it.
Craftable Ammunition
: Fallout 4's wasteland is filled with workbenches where you can customize weapons and craft items. But you would think with that with all the random junk you find throughout the game you'd be able to craft ammo too. Thankfully, this patch lets you craft any kind of ammo you want, as long as you've reached the required Gun Nut, Demolition, and Science perk levels.

Lowered Weapons![]()
: This simple mod makes it so your character will lower their weapon when they're not firing it. While it's mostly a minor cosmetic touch, it's a great mod for those looking to increase their level of immersion.
Here's the mod's download link.
Creature Follower
: Have you ever wished you could have one of the wasteland's various creatures join you on your adventures as a companion? This mod lets you do just that, giving you the ability to issue commands to them like a normal companion NPC, with the exception of the relationship option. Compatible companion creatures include: a Deathclaw, a Yao Guai, a Gen 1 Synth, a Gen 2 Synth, a Mutant Hound, a Super Mutant Behemoth, a Raider Dog, a Gorilla, a Radscorpion, a Vicious Dog, or a Cat.
Here's the mod's download link.
Atom Bomb Baby
: This mod literally turns the Fatman Launcher's nukes into your character's son, Shaun. We're not kidding, you can fire a potent 'Shaun Nuke' into enemies for some serious damage. It's fantastic.
Here's the mod's download link.
Full Dialogue Interface
: If you ever had a problem with the vague way that Fallout 4 displays its dialogue choices, then this mod is for you. It translates every dialogue choice down to its exact response, allowing you to say what you mean.
Here's the mod's download link.
Enhanced Wasteland Preset
: While Fallout 4's new visual style is more colorful than its predecessors, it still appears a bit washed out. Luckily, this mod helps reduce this quality to increase the color and vibrancy of the game's textures and lighting.
Here's the mod's download link.
Stalker Lightning (Photorealistic Wasteland)
: The Stalker Lightning mod changes the game's visuals, altering some of its colors and optics to be more dreary, harsh, and atmospheric. This one is ideal for those who prefer a post-apocalyptic world that's less vibrant and colorful than what's presented in the main game.
Here's the mod's download link.
Improved Map
: Did you ever find yourself having trouble with Fallout 4's sometimes indecipherable map? Well, you're not alone. Someone created a mod that solves the issue by increasing the map's contrast and clearly defining its roads, topography, and waterlines.
Here's the mod's download link.
More Armor Slots
: This mod lets you utilize all five armor slots on any of the outfits that typically take up all slots, like tuxedos, dresses, and clean suits. It's an ideal mod to have for those who want the extra added stat boosts of armor pieces on top of a special outfit with strong statistics. However, it's worth noting that since the armor parts weren't designed to be layered on to certain outfits, there is a significant amount of clipping.
Here's the mod's download link.
Fallout 4 Configuration Tool
: The Configuration Tool lets you unlock tweaks and options not readily accessible through the game's launcher and setting menu. For example, you can unlock the frame rate, change the color of the UI, expand the game's field of view, adjust mouse sensitivity, customize lighting and shadows, and much more. This mod is a must for players who love to customize and tailor the game's settings at the most granular level.
Here's the mod's download link.
Texture Optimization
: The framerate of Fallout 4 can take some major dips at times, especially in the game's larger areas or grand combat situations. Thankfully, the Texture Optimization mod reduces this problem without sacrificing visual fidelity by replacing higher texture files with smaller ones, improving performance all around.
Here's the mod's download link.
Higher Settlement Budget
: This mod is a godsend to all creative settlement builders out there, as it removes the building budget completely. Download it and you can build to your heart's content without restrictions, assembling settlements and structures as grand and extensive as you want.

Players have been enjoying Bethesda’s latest post-apocalyptic RPG for two weeks now. While many people enjoyed the game, many others have pointed out places where it comes up lacking. Even though Bethesda doesn’t plan to release the Creation Kit until next year, the modding community is already improving the game in ways both large and small. Here are the ten best mods that have been released so far.
Craftable Ammunition
There isn’t too much crafting in Fallout 4, aside from objects for settlements. Nexus user Xylozi’s new mod changes that by introducing a crafting system for ammunition. Players create the individual elements for each ammo type at the cooking station, and then craft the ammo itself at the chemistry station. Ammo can also be broken down into its junk parts at the cooking station. For those who have had a hard time finding mini-nukes, but have a lot of unused nuclear material, this mod may come in handy. You can get more details about how to craft ammo types and can download the mod here.
Lowered Weapons
The player character is almost always pointing his or her gun when a weapon is drawn. This can be annoying in first person, since it obscures a large chunk of the screen. For some, simply holstering the gun may be enough, but for those who prefer to move about The Commonwealth with weapons drawn, this simple mod will be a welcome addition. Installing it will make it so that the player character has the gun in a down position when not firing, obscuring much less of the screen. Many players may find this adds to the game’s immersion. User lesma666 is taking suggestions on how to improve the mod. You can download it here.
Value per Weight Indicator for Container UI
This is another simple, yet very helpful mod. Scavenging the wasteland can involve difficult decisions about which items to lug back home for sale or salvage. While selling to vendors is now not the only way to use unwanted items, it is still a helpful method of making money. This mod, by Nexus author CyberShadow, adds additional information to the UI about items’ value per pound. This should help players decide what scrap, armor, and weapons are worth taking with them. You can download it here.
Darker Nights
This one is relatively straightforward. Darker nights mods are popular for most Bethesda games, and most ENBs for prior releases included darkening effects. Many players undoubtedly want a truly pitch-black experience wandering the wasteland. The author, unforbidable, notes that these nights are not tremendously darker, but still noticeably so. The tool allows users to pick from seven levels of darkness, ranging from just shadier than vanilla, to the most dark. You can download it here.
Improved Map with Visible Roads
Fallout 4’s default map is murky, and certain aspects, like roads, are hard to distinguish. It gets the job done, but it could easily display geographical information more clearly. Mm137 has spruced up the default map. The mod replaces the murky original with a higher contrast version, which helps make roads, topography, and waterlines clearer to see. Because some users may find it too bright, there’s a slightly darker version as well. You can download it here.
Higher Settlement Budget
This one is simple, yet powerful. Bethesda places a limit on how much you can build in any given settlement. While this may not be a problem for some players, for those who have built fortresses out of Sanctuary, Tenpines Bluff, and other locations, this is a much needed addition to the game. With this tool, author GrimTech – PatrickJr helps you place even more objects of any kind in any settlement you like. It will also pair well with the SSEx mod featured below. You can download it here.
Settlement Supplies Expanded (SSEx)
As its name implies, this mod expands the supplies available to build and craft at settlements. Author Troy Irving wondered why there was such a low number of objects at his disposal, so he’s been adding more. This includes (as of press time, or mod update 1.8): 71 useable furniture items, 80 doors, 228 static objects, and an alternate power armor rack. There are custom categories, along with other additions. The project is so extensive and deep, he’s written a guide to all of the objects players can take advantage of. You can download it here.
Fallout 4 Configuration Tool by Bilago
Players who love to endlessly tweak their game configurations will enjoy this mod. The tool adds an expanded configuration launcher with a variety of helpful features. Some of these include an FOV tracker, a Pip Boy color changer, toggles for Depth of Field and Bokeh, toggles for Mouse Acceleration, framerate lock, mouse sensitivity, and windowed borderless mode. Bilago notes that this is still a work in progress. You can download it here.
Fallout 4 Improved Map With Visible Roads ModFallout 4 Texture Optimization Project
Not everyone can play Bethesda’s latest at Ultra settings with all the bells and whistles turned on. The game’s vanilla textures are massive, with ground textures running at 2048×2048 and plant textures running at 1024×1024. The Mod’s author, torcher, wants to improve Fallout 4’s framerate without sacrificing much visual fidelity at middle and long distances, especially for players who need all the extra FPS they can get. The modder has replaced the game’s textures with lower resolution textures that still retain an acceptable appearance. You can download it here.
Full Dialogue Interface
You may have noticed that the provided dialogue options don’t always match up with what your character will actually say. Sometimes, this is only a slight, harmless change in wording. Other times, however, what he or she actually says is drastically different than what the dialogue option presented. The Full Dialogue Interface mod changes the dialogue prompts so that they reflect exactly what your character will say if you choose that option. The default appearance is a list format with numbers in brackets, but the modders, Shadwar and Ciro, have included several appearance options based on your preferences, including one that looks like the vanilla diamond-shaped format. You can download it here.
Bonus Mods:
Darker Worn Helmeted cage armor – The visual retexturing done here is better looking than vanilla.
Clean Power Armor HUD – Those who can’t stand the intrusive Power Armor UI will enjoy this one, although it could also be improved.
